21 days of Prayer + Fasting

This year, we’re not coasting—we’re gearing up.
We’re in a battle—but not against people. “Battle Ready” is a call to wake up, suit up, and stand firm as we strengthen our spiritual disciplines and put on the full armor of God. Victory starts with being equipped for the fight. The battle is real, but so is the power of God!

Join us as we participate in:

❋ Daily online devotionals

Each day of the 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting, we’ll anchor ourselves in God’s Word through focused daily devotionals, designed to sharpen our faith, align our hearts, and equip us to stand firm.

❋ Commitment to fast

Fasting is our intentional act of setting aside what feeds the body to strengthen what feeds the soul. As we fast, we quiet distractions, heighten spiritual sensitivity, and make room for God to move with clarity and power. This isn’t about deprivation—it’s about dependence.

❋ daily prayer on zoom

Before the noise of the day begins, we’ll gather online for early morning prayer—setting our focus, sharpening our spirit, and starting each day surrendered to God. These moments are about alignment and alertness, reminding us that victory begins when we seek Him first. Click here to join. (I need link!)

❋ Wednesday night prayer

Once a week, we’ll come together in person for a powerful night of corporate prayer—standing shoulder to shoulder as we contend for breakthrough, unity, and spiritual strength. There is something unmistakable that happens when God’s people pray together, fully present and fully engaged.

Get inspired.

If you’re new to prayer and fasting—or simply need a reset—Pastor Stephanie Roberts walks through the heart, purpose, and posture of prayer and fasting in this short video. It’s a powerful reminder that these practices aren’t about striving, but about drawing near—positioning ourselves to hear God clearly and move forward fully equipped.

DAY 1
Strong Because God Is
By Pastor Josh Roberts

Strength in God

Scripture Focus: Ephesians 6:10 — Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.

Reflection: You were never called to be strong on your own. That is exhausting. Paul does not say, “Be strong in your personality, your discipline, or your hustle.” He says, “Be strong in the Lord.”

Real strength is not you holding it all together; it is you being held together by Him. God’s power is the steady place under a shaking world. When you feel worn out, under pressure, or in over your head, that is your reminder to lean in, not tap out.

Strength is a transfer. As you worship, as you pray, as you fast in these 21 days, God is putting His strength where your strength runs out.

Sticky thought for today: My limits are not the problem, my source is.

Prayer Focus:

Lord, I bring You my weakness, my worries, and the places I feel stretched thin. Fill me with Your mighty power. Help me stand strong in You today. Amen.

DAY 2
There’s More Going On Than You See
Pastor Stephanie Roberts

Spiritual battle awareness

Scripture Focus: Ephesians 6:12 – For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.

Reflection:

What we can see often feels more real than what we can’t. Yet Scripture reminds us that while we live in this world, our true identity and home are in the unseen realm of God’s kingdom (John 17:14–16). The enemy works hard to keep us fixated on what is temporary—pressures at home, relational conflict, financial strain, deadlines, old wounds—so that we forget who we are and Whose we are.

But behind the visible struggles of life is a very real spiritual battle. The enemy seeks to distract, deceive, and destroy. This truth isn’t meant to create fear—it’s meant to awaken us. We fight a defeated foe. Through the cross and resurrection, Jesus stripped the powers of darkness and secured our victory (Colossians 2:15; 1 John 4:4).

In 2 Kings 6:8–17, Elisha’s servant panicked at the sight of the enemy army—until God opened his eyes to the greater reality: heavenly armies surrounding them. The same is true for us today. As we fast and pray, may God open our eyes to see that there are more with us than with them.

Prayer Focus:

  • Lord, ground me in Your truth so I am not ruled by what I see or feel.

  • Give me the Spirit of wisdom and revelation so the eyes of my heart may be enlightened.

  • Open my eyes to the unseen realm so that I am more aware of You than anything else.

  • Lord, help me to recognize the enemy's attempts to fixate my mind on temporary struggles, and instead, help me to remember my true identity in You and whose I am (John 17:14-16).

  • Protect me from the enemy's schemes to distract, deceive, and destroy, and grant me spiritual alertness to stand firm against his attacks (1 Peter 5:8).

DAY 3
Get Your Mind Right
Pastor Larissa Wrabel

Belt of Truth: Secure Your Core

Scripture Focus: John 8:32 – And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.

Reflection:

In the time we are living, many believe that “truth” is something relative—shaped only by personal experience. The trap in this thinking is that it limits us to the freedom only our own knowledge can provide. But God’s Word says that for His children, He will reveal things no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and that have not entered the heart of man. He gives us His thoughts to instruct us (1 Corinthians 2:9–16).

1 John 2:20 tells us that we “have an anointing from the Holy One” and that we “know all things.” That may seem impossible, yet God is reminding us that He doesn’t want our lives limited by our own understanding. He has made His thoughts available to us in every area. It doesn’t matter how real our truth feels right now, His truth can radically change the reality we’re experiencing in an instant.

I love that it is called the Belt of Truth. A belt keeps your pants up, holds things together—it keeps you steady, supported, and protected. In the same way, God’s truth keeps us from injury and humiliation. Why would we base our beliefs or possibilities on anything less than what God thinks?

So where are we not experiencing freedom today? What LIE is trying to parade itself as the highest TRUTH keeping us from walking in FREEDOM? When we receive God’s truth, freedom follows.

Prayer Focus:

  • Lord reveal to me any thoughts that presents itself against Your Word & Truth for my life (2 Corinthians 10:5)

  • Lord reveal Your Love to me so that I may trust You truly will lead and guide me in the way that brings good things into my life (1 John 4:18, Jeremiah 29:11)

  • Lord help me to humble myself in areas where I think I know best (James 4:6)

  • Lord give me wisdom to know exactly what to do in every situation (James 1:5-8)

  • Lord help me to experience Your presence for myself, because where your presence is there is freedom, liberty, righteousness, peace & joy!  (2 Corinthians 3:17, Psalm 16:11, Romans 4:17)

DAY 4
Your Heart Is Worth Guarding
Pastor Rebecca Eatman

Breastplate of Righteousness

Scripture Focus: 2 Cor 5:21 – For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

Reflection:

During family movie nights, when the music shifts, my children instinctively cover their eyes. They're not just shielding their faces; they're guarding their hearts from fear that might linger as they try to sleep.

We often do the same in life. When uncertainty, hardship, or spiritual attacks arise, our hearts seek refuge. We long for a shield from the anxieties that threaten our peace.

Thanks be to God for the gift of Jesus, our perfect shield! Through Him, we are made righteous before our loving, gracious Father, the Creator of the universe. More than that, Jesus actively guards our hearts daily. When the enemy prowls like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour (1 Peter 5:8), Christ stands as our defense. His peace, which surpasses all understanding, silences fear and steadies our spirit (Philippians 4:7). His truth covers us, a protective hand over our very souls.

So, when the "music changes" in your life and fear attempts to take hold, remember: you are not unprotected. You have a Shield who never leaves, never sleeps, and never loses. Rest in Him, and let Him guard your heart.

Prayer Focus:

Praise God for Jesus, our perfect Shield: Thank Him for His righteousness and protection. "For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God." (2 Corinthians 5:21). "But you, O Lord, are a shield about me, my glory, and the lifter of my head." (Psalm 3:3).

Pray for hearts to be guarded: Ask God to shield our hearts from fear, anxiety, and the attacks of the enemy. "Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour." (1 Peter 5:8).

Seek His peace: Pray for the peace of Christ to silence fear and steady our spirits in challenging times. "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:7).

Rest in His presence: Ask for grace to trust in Jesus' constant presence and protection, knowing He never leaves or loses. "Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, 'I will never leave you nor forsake you.'" (Hebrews 13:5).

DAY 5
Search Me, Lord
Pastor Mo Christmas

Pure motives

Scripture Focus: Psalms 139:23-24 – Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts! And see if there be any grievous way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting!

Reflection:

There are moments in our lives when in our walk with God we ask why are there so many battles around me. Sometimes we should stop and see what is in me and what are my motives for my actions. David when he was going through tough times did not ask God to search his enemies but rather asked God to search him. A mark of a mature believer is to ask God to search our thoughts and actions. Darkness will never prevail when the light of God enter our hearts.

Pure motives or holy motives don't happen by accident. We live in a sinful world and we need the power of the Holy Spirit to wash us constantly to walk in pure ways. Let us invite the Holy Spirit into our lives and ask God to show us what is hindering the blessings that is in store for us. God will guide our path as we surrender our lives to His will.

Ask God with all honesty to show you what is stopping you from getting closer to God. Our honesty does not bring shame but rather heals us in our walk with the Lord. God does not expose to condemn or hurt but rather He does to bring restoration. As God guides our path, a pure heart doesn't just do the right thing but also desires righteousness. Let our pure motives be the weapon we hold to live in peace, safety and joy.

Prayer Focus:

  1. Pray for the courage to repent where needed and the humility to be teachable.

  2. Ask God’s sovereignty to lead your path to righteousness.

DAY 6
No More Open Windows
Pastor David Bonilla

Closing doors to the enemy

Scripture Focus: James 4:7 – Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Reflection:

This verse gives us a simple yet powerful roadmap for spiritual victory, built around two key actions. The first is not to fight harder on our own, it’s to surrender. When we surrender to God, it leads us into true submission. Submission means placing our will beneath His, trusting His wisdom, and choosing His way even when our feelings or circumstances pull us in another direction.

Jesus is our perfect example of this. In Luke 22:42 He prayed, “Father, if You are willing, remove this cup from Me. Nevertheless, not My will, but Yours be done.” Jesus submitted His will to the Father’s, and when we submit to God, we also come under His authority, His protection, and His strength.

Only then does the second command come: resist the devil. We resist not by our own power but by standing firm in Christ, through prayer, reading the Word, obedience, and remembering who we belong to. This posture of resistance flows from humility, which verse 6 highlights: “… God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” The enemy cannot stand where God reigns. When we draw near to God and reject the lies and temptations that come against us, the devil must flee.

Today, choose submission over self-reliance. In every decision, whisper, “Lord, have Your way.” Stand strong in faith, knowing you are not fighting alone. God equips, God defends, and through Him the enemy has no hold on you. Stay humble!

Prayer Focus: Submission

  • Pray for help to yield every part of your life to Him, your desires, plans, and fears. Let your heart rest under His authority, and fully surrender to His will.

Prayer Focus: Resisting the Devil

  • Pray for strength to stand firm against temptations, lies, and distraction of the enemy. Pray for Him to fill you with His Word, His Spirit, and His courage to resist.

DAY 7
I Know Who I Am
Pastor Mo Christmas

Identity in Christ

Scripture Focus: Ephesians 1:12 – so that we who were the first to hope in Christ might be to the praise of his glory.

Reflection: You are who God says you are in His word. When your identity is rooted in Jesus Christ, you stand on something unshakable. You are not defined by yesterday’s mistakes, today’s pressure, or tomorrow’s unknowns. You are defined by the One who calls you beloved, chosen, and His. Walk in confidence—because who you are in Christ is stronger than anything you face in this world.

Ephesians 2:10

'For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. '

  • Our identity in Christ brings freedom.

You don’t have to perform, impress, or earn your worth. In Christ, you already are loved, forgiven, and fully known.

  • Our identity in Christ brings strength.

Because Christ lives in you, you carry His strength into every challenge. You’re not fighting alone. His power works through you!

  • Identity in Christ brings purpose.

Your life isn’t random. Jesus has placed gifts, calling, and influence in you that only you can carry out.

  • Identity in Christ brings hope.

No matter how dark or uncertain life feels, your future is anchored in His promises. There is always more ahead with Him.

  • Remember you are who God says you are!

Prayer Focus:

  1. Pray for a deeper understanding of who God made you to be.

  2. Pray against the lies of the enemy that tries to confuse you against God’s word,

  3. Pray for confidence rooted in Christ not performance.

  4. Pray for emotional and mental stability.

  5. Pray for a renewed mind

DAY 8
I Stand My Ground
Pastor David Bonilla

Shoes of Peace

Scripture Focus: Philippians 4:7 – And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Reflection:

A Roman soldier never stepped into battle without his caligae—sturdy, hobnailed sandals designed to give firm footing on any terrain. They were the ancient equivalent of today’s military boots with deep tread. Without them, a soldier could slip, stumble, or be pushed back by the enemy. With them, he could stand his ground with confidence.

Paul uses this image when he speaks of the armor of God and the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace in Ephesians 6:15. And in Philippians 4:7 he adds, “And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” God’s peace is not fragile or fleeting: it is strong, steady, and planted beneath us like a soldier’s shoes.

As someone new to New England after growing up in Florida, I’ve quickly learned how important traction is in the winter. Without good tread on my tires, I won’t get very far. In the same way, when life feels unstable, when worries tug at your thoughts or fear shakes your footing, God offers a peace that keeps you steady. It may not make sense to the world, but it anchors your heart and guards your mind. His peace becomes your traction in slippery places and your stability in spiritual battles.

Today, step into whatever lies ahead with the confidence that God’s peace goes with you. Let His presence steady your steps. Stand firm, knowing that in Christ you are guarded, grounded, and ready.
The Shoes of Peace are my traction to keep me standing firm.

Prayer Focus:

  • Pray and thank God for His peace so that you can stand firm in trials. Praise Him for being the anchor that keeps your heart and mind secure even in uncertain times.

  • Pray that you have the readiness to share the Gospel of Peace, and that you trust God over fear and worry. That He gives you courage and confidence to step into situations knowing God equips you to be a messenger of His peace.

  • Pray that He gives you constant awareness that God is walking with you and steadying your steps.

  • Pray that he reminds you that you are always grounded and ready in Christ, no matter the “terrain” ahead.

DAY 9
My Faith Fights Back
Pastor Stephanie Roberts

Shield of Faith

Scripture Focus: Hebrews 11:1 – Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.

Reflection:Ephesians 6:16 commands: “In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one.” Not just sometimes. Not when it’s convenient. In all circumstances.

Faith is more than belief—it is confident trust in God’s character and His Word, even when the outcome is still invisible. Faith says, “God is who He says He is, and He will do what He has promised.”

In ancient warfare, shields were large, protective, and often covered the entire body. In the same way, the shield of faith protects us from lies, doubts, temptations, discouragement, and accusations the enemy fires at us.

So how do we practically use the shield of faith?

  • We choose truth over feelings. When fear, anxiety, or uncertainty rise, faith grabs hold of God’s promises instead of what our eyes see. (2 Corinthians 5:7)

  • We reject lies and replace them with Scripture. When thoughts whisper, “God doesn’t care… You’ll never change… You’re alone,” faith replies with God’s truth. (John 8:44; Romans 8:1)

  • We obey even when it’s hard. Obedience in uncomfortable moments is an act of faith that extinguishes fiery darts. (James 2:17)

  • We stay connected to the Body. When we share struggles and victories with other believers, our shields lock together—just like soldiers protecting one another. (Hebrews 10:24-25)

  • We practice gratitude. Giving thanks in all circumstances keeps our faith lifted and our hearts guarded. (1 Thessalonians 5:18; Romans 8:28

Your faith is not passive—it is a weapon. And when you lift it, the enemy loses ground.

Prayer Focus:

  • Lord, help me take up the shield of faith in every circumstance—not just the big ones.

  • Expose the areas where I’ve been living by sight instead of faith.

  • Strengthen my faith to reject every lie of the enemy and cling to Your truth.

  • Teach me to obey quickly, even when my feelings resist.

  • Surround me with faith-filled community so my shield is never lifted alone.

  • Grow a spirit of gratitude in me, reminding me that You are working all things for my good and Your glory.

DAY 10
Protect Your Headspace
Pastor Mo Christmas

Helmet of Salvation

Scripture Focus: Romans 12:2 – Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

Reflection:

Oftentimes the battles that we face are not much of our circumstances but rather our minds. That is why the scripture says to protect our head with the helmet of salvation. Salvation doesn’t just save your soul; it guards your thoughts. It protects your identity, your worldview, your convictions, your desires and your perspective.

Throughout the day, countless voices try to shape and reshape our thinking: culture, workplace pressure, comparison, fear, social media and even past wounds. If we’re not careful, we start conforming to patterns that don’t come from Christ. But when your mind is renewed regularly, you begin to recognize the difference between God’s voice and the world's voice that distracts you.

Renewal is not a one-time event; it’s a continual surrender. Every day, we let the truth of salvation remind us who we are, who we belong to, and what we’ve been called to. When the enemy tries to overwhelm your headspace with lies, guilt, or confusion, the Helmet of Salvation protects your mind with God’s truth.

Prayer Focus:

  1. Ask the Holy Spirit to silence anxiety, confusion, and mental clutter, and to establish a fresh mindset rooted in Christ.

  2. Pray for discernment to recognize God’s will

DAY 11
Not Today, Satan
Pastor Larissa Wrabel

Discernment

Scripture Focus: 2 Corinthians 2:11 – so that we would not be outwitted by Satan; for we are not ignorant of his designs.

Reflection:

John 10:10 tells us, the thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. But Jesus came so that we may both have and enjoy life. That we may have & experience the God kind of life in abundance until it overflows!

Most people are not experiencing the life God has planned for them simply due to ignorance of the “enemy” that is opposing them. While we know the “thief” has been defeated by Jesus, (Ephesians 1:20-23), our ignorance can set us up to cooperate with the very plots that were meant to cause us harm.

I have found the best way to keep me from this is learning the goodness of the character of God. When I renew my thoughts & beliefs to the truth of just how much God loves me, how good His plans are for my life, His thoughts towards me…. I know that a bad thing parading itself as God’s plan can’t possibly be right AND He loves me enough to fulfill His promises for my life.

The “thief” is a master liar but his character is on whatever he touches: strife, fear, confusion, torment, lack. The things our heavenly Father touch are marked with power, joy, peace, comfort, clarity, grace & mercy.

Don’t get it twisted. If it’s good - it’s God. If it’s bad - it’s the thief.

Prayer Focus:

  • Root me in your love (Ephesians 3: 14-21)

  • Teach me how to be led only by your Holy Spirit (Romans 8)

  • Give me wisdom (James 1:5-7)

  • Remove anything keeping the fruit of the spirit from abounding in my life (Galatians 5:22-25)

  • Protect me from malicious plots of the enemy and people (2 Thessalonians 3:3, Psalm 91, Romans 16:17-20)

  • Help me to draw near to you & resist the enemy (James 4:7-10)

  • I keep myself, and the wicked on cannot touch me (1 John 5:18)

  • I understand that God has imparted to me authority to trample over the enemy’s kingdom, overcome every power of the enemy and NOTHING by any means will cause me harm! (Luke 10:19 TPT)

DAY 12
I Don’t Fight Alone
Pastor Rebecca Eatman

Authority in Christ

Scripture Focus: Luke 10:19 – Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you.

Reflection:

In high school, I played sports, and there were many practices where my coach pushed us to do things I didn’t enjoy. She used her authority to prepare us for the match ahead—drills, conditioning, repetition. At the time, it felt unnecessary, even frustrating. But she had studied the game in a way I hadn’t yet. She knew what we would face.

When the match finally came, she didn’t have to shout instructions every moment. She simply activated what we had already practiced. What felt hard in training became strength in the middle of competition.

Our walk with Christ is much the same. When we understand the authority we have in Him, we begin to realize He has already done the work. Through His victory on the cross, He prepared us for every “match” the enemy tries to throw our way. We don’t fight for authority—we fight from it.

The battles we face aren’t surprises to God. He equips us through His Word, His Spirit, and His presence. And when the pressure hits, He activates what He has already placed within us.

Stand firm today: in Christ, you carry real authority—and the enemy has already been defeated.

Prayer Focus:
Heavenly Father, we praise You for Your supreme authority and the victory won through Jesus Christ. Thank You that in Him, we have authority over the enemy, who has already been defeated (Colossians 2:15).

Lord, help us to truly understand and walk in the authority we have in Christ, fighting from victory, not for it. Equip us daily through Your Word and Holy Spirit, preparing us for every challenge (2 Timothy 3:16-17). Grant us strength to stand firm, resisting the devil, knowing he will flee (James 4:7). May Your peace guard our hearts and minds (Philippians 4:7).

In Jesus' name, Amen.

DAY 13
I’m Built to Last
Pastor Josh Roberts

Endurance & resilience

Scripture Focus: 1 Peter 5:8–10Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. 9 Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your brotherhood throughout the world. 10 And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.

Reflection:

You were not built to break. You were built to last. But Peter reminds us that lasting faith is not passive. We have an enemy, so we stay alert, not anxious. We resist, we do not retreat. Endurance is not pretending it does not hurt. Endurance is choosing to trust God in the middle of the hit. Your brothers and sisters around the world are fighting similar battles, and grace is holding you too.

This season will not have the last word over you. God will. He himself will restore what has been lost, strengthen what has been shaken, and establish what He started in you.

Prayer Focus:

Lord, make me steady. Help me stay awake, resist the enemy, and stand firm in my faith. I trust You to restore, strengthen, and establish me. I am built to last in You. Amen.

DAY 14
We Stand Stronger Together
Pastor Mo Christmas

Prayer with Community

Scripture Focus: Philippians 1:27 – Only let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving side by side for the faith of the gospel

Reflection: God has put great value in community. God never designed us to walk through life alone, He places us in community so we can grow, heal, celebrate, and stand strong together. In church, we find people who pray with us when we’re weak, celebrate with us when God moves, and remind us of truth when life gets loud and overwhelming. Community shapes us, sharpens us, and steadies us. When we gather, God’s presence meets us in a unique way, and our faith is strengthened by the faith of others.  Church family is a gift, one that helps you become more like Christ and reminds you that you never have to walk this journey by yourself.

So many scriptures that talk about not doing life alone and enforces the importance of believers working together.

1 Corinthians 12:12

'The human body has many parts, but the many parts make up one whole body. So it is with the body of Christ. '

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12

'Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble. Likewise, two people lying close together can keep each other warm. But how can one be warm alone? A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken. '

Matthew 18:20

'For where two or three gather together as my followers, I am there among them.” '

Corporate prayer provides an energy and focus that can be missed individually especially for those just starting to establish their own prayer life or really trying to strengthen it.

Prayer Focus:

  • Pray for breakthrough and answered prayer - That the prayers lifted together would result in healing, restoration, salvation, deliverance, and open doors.

  • Pray for a unity of spirit in prayer - Ask God to align our hearts, break down walls, and help everyone pray with one voice and one purpose.

  • Pray for sensitivity to the Holy Spirit - Ask God to align our hearts, break down walls, and help everyone pray with one voice and one purpose.

  • Pray for Boldness and Freedom - That people would feel safe, confident, and unafraid to pray aloud, share burdens, and believe God for big things.

  • Pray for compassion and empathy - Ask God to help everyone truly hear one another’s needs and lift them up with love and understanding.

  • Pray for a renewed hunger for God - That praying together would stir spiritual passion, ignite faith, and awaken desire for more of His presence.

DAY 15
Say It Like You Mean It
Pastor Mo Christmas

Sword of the Spirit

Scripture Focus: Hebrews 4:12 – For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit

Reflection:

As we fast and pray, we need to study the word because the word of God is powerful and we need to declare the word of God like we mean it. The word of God is not like any other words in the books we find but rather it is a living weapon in the hands of a believer who knows how to use it. When you speak the Word, you are not repeating spiritual poetry; you are releasing divine authority. The Sword of the Spirit cuts through confusion, breaks through darkness, exposes lies, and brings truth into the deepest parts of your heart.

Many believers admire the sword but never draw it. They read Scripture but rarely declare it. Yet battles are won when the Word is not only believed but spoken. Jesus Himself defeated the enemy in the wilderness by saying, It is written.

Today,  God is reminding you that your voice carries weight when it is filled with His Word. You don’t have to accept every thought that enters your mind or every attack that comes your way. You have the right, and the responsibility to respond with truth. When fear rises, speak peace. When temptation whispers, speak holiness. When doubt surfaces, speak faith.

Prayer Focus:

  1. Pray for a fresh boldness to speak God’s Word over every situation in your life.

  2. Ask the Holy Spirit to bring Scriptures to your remembrance at the exact moments you need them.

DAY 16
Strength on the Inside
Pastor Larissa Wrabel

Praying in the Spirit

Scripture Focus: Jude 20 – But you, beloved, building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit

Reflection:

You remember the Popeye cartoons? (Chatgpt it Gen Z) Popeye was a wimp. Meant to lose every battle with muscles that were so weak they would droop down to his side. But once he ate his spinach…ZING… he knocked anything out trying to knock him down!

1 Corinthians 14:4 tells us that praying in the spirit or other tongues “edifies” us. Weird church word, right?! “Edifies” basically conveys the same idea as being a house builder. You are constructing a strong structure in your innermost being that holds up under pressure and challenges and is bold in the face of adversity! Areas where you would normally crumble, all of the sudden a whole new you shows up to the "boxing ring” of life. Strong & undefeatable!

Let me introduce you to [insert your name here] the heavy weight champion of the world! (applause)

Sure praying in the spirit is optional as a believer in Jesus. You don’t have to. But we weren't meant to be walking out our faith without His power! Jesus told us, “.. my power finds its full expression through your weakness” & to stay away from people that seem Godly but deny God’s power…  (2 Cor 12:9, 2 Timothy 3:5) We serve a God that empowers us to win every battle!

Prayer Focus:

  • Ask the Lord to baptize you with the Holy Spirit (Luke 11:9-13, Acts 19:6, Acts 2:4)

  • Pray in your prayer language (1 Corinthians 14:4, 1 Corinthians 14:15)

  • Meditate on Romans 8:26-28 TPT and allow the Lord to pray out the things you don’t know how to pray for

DAY 17
Heaven Backs Me Up
Pastor David Bonilla

Establishing As it is in Heaven

Scripture Focus: Matthew 16:19 – I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loose in heaven.

Reflection:

Jesus spoke these words to Peter, granting him authority to guide the early Church. For us today, this isn’t about holding a position of power, it’s about understanding the authority God gives every believer through His Spirit. This verse comes right after Peter’s confession of Jesus as the Christ. When we accept Jesus as our Savior, we are granted this same authority through His Spirit. We have the privilege to influence our surroundings, speak truth, and make choices aligned with God’s will.

I often talk to my two daughters about how their actions affect the people around them. I remind them to make good choices so they can be a positive influence on their friends. In the same way, God’s Spirit needs to guide us so we can positively impact those around us.

“Binding” and “loosing” can be applied personally: we can choose to reject sin, forgive others, and live according to God’s commands. Binding refers to restraining or confronting what is contrary to God’s will: sin, deception, or spiritual strongholds. Loosing, on the other hand, is releasing blessing, forgiveness, or spiritual freedom, allowing God’s truth and grace to operate fully.

Take action today by examining one area of your life where you need to exercise Godly authority. Maybe it’s letting go of a grudge, setting a boundary, or committing to speak truth in love. Your obedience resonates beyond you! As it is in Heaven!

Prayer Focus:

  • Pray the Lord helps you live boldly in the authority He has given us.

  • Pray that He guides your choices so that your actions reflect His kingdom.

  • Pray that He gives you wisdom to bind what is harmful and to loosen His truth in every situation.

DAY 18
Light Wins Every Time Over Darkness
Pastor Rebecca Eatman

Light overcoming darkness

Scripture Focus: John 1:5 – The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

Reflection:

One of God's most profound characteristics to me is that He is Light. Before the sun, moon, and stars, God's very first words were, "Let there be light" (Genesis 1:3). This reveals that light is not merely a created thing, but an intrinsic part of His divine essence. "God is light, and in him is no darkness at all" (1 John 1:5). This light signifies His absolute holiness, purity, and truth, which inherently exposes all that is contrary to Him.

When we declare ourselves followers of Jesus, we become carriers of this divine light. Jesus Himself proclaimed, "You are the light of the world" (Matthew 5:14). This means we have the incredible ability to walk into any room or situation and dispel spiritual darkness. Where God's light shows up through us, truth is revealed, hope ignites, and spiritual growth begins. It exposes the lies and deceptions that darkness thrives on.

We no longer have to live in the shadows of sin, sorrow, and pain that darkness fosters. The light of Christ within us overcomes these things, bringing life, clarity, and reflecting God's glory. Let us actively shine brightly, allowing His light to penetrate the darkness around us, in this our lives, illuminated by Him, become a beacon guiding others to the source of all light.

Prayer Focus:

  • Praise God as the Source of All Light: Thank God that He is light, and in Him there is no darkness, acknowledging His holiness, purity, and truth (1 John 1:5).

  • Pray for a Deeper Understanding of His Light: Ask God to reveal more fully what it means for Him to be light and for us to carry that light as followers of Jesus (John 8:12 ESV).

  • Pray for Boldness to Dispel Darkness: Ask for courage and opportunity to shine the light of Christ in dark situations, revealing truth, hope, and life (Matthew 5:16).

  • Pray for Personal Illumination and Purity: Ask the Holy Spirit to expose any areas of darkness or sin in our own lives, so we may walk in the light as He is in the light (Ephesians 5:8).

  • Pray for the Light to Overcome Darkness: Declare and pray that the light of Christ will overcome all forms of spiritual darkness, knowing that darkness cannot extinguish His light (John 1:5).

DAY 19
We Move the Mission Forward
Pastor Stephanie Roberts

Gospel to the ends of the earth

Scripture Focus: Romans 10:14–15 – How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard?[a] And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!”

Reflection:

Why does the armor matter? Why strengthen spiritual disciplines? Why fight the good fight every day? Because all of it prepares us for our ultimate purpose: to make disciples of all nations. Jesus’ final instruction was to go into all the world and proclaim the gospel.

If we aren’t grounded in Christ, clothed in the armor, and resisting the enemy—who will stand in the gap? There are people in our neighborhoods, workplaces, campuses, and even our homes who have yet to experience the hope of Jesus. Globally, more than 3.3 billion people—about 42% of the world—live in unreached people groups with little to no access to the gospel. They cannot hear unless someone goes. They cannot believe unless someone tells them.

At All People, we know why we exist: to inspire people to experience Jesus for themselves. Whether it’s your neighbor, your barista, the cashier, or someone across the ocean—the mission moves forward when we move. If we don’t go, who will?

It’s our calling. Our mandate. Our purpose.

Prayer Focus:

  • Lord, open my eyes to the people in my daily life who need You.

  • Give me a heart that breaks for the lost and boldness to share Your love.

  • Send me where You want me to go—across the street or across the world.

  • Stir compassion in me for the nations; let me carry Your heart for the unreached.

  • Give our church clarity, unity, and courage as we move Your mission forward.

  • We ask You for the nations as our inheritance (Psalm 2:8).

  • Use my life, my prayers, my giving, and my obedience to make Jesus known.

DAY 20
This Ground Belongs to God
Pastor Mo Christmas

God’s Providence

Scripture Focus: Jeremiah 29:7 – But seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the Lord on its behalf, for in its welfare you will find your welfare.

Reflection:

God’s hand is always at work, even when life feels uncertain. Phil 4:19 says, “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus” . He sees you, knows your struggles, and provides exactly what you need at the right time. Nothing is wasted, nothing is missed, and nothing is beyond His control. Romans 8:32 says “He who did not spare His own Son, but gave Him up for us all—how will He not also, along with Him, graciously give us all things?”. We must trust that He is faithful to supply, guide, and sustain us. Rest in His provision, lean on His promises, and watch Him turn every situation into a blessing.

When life feels uncertain, remember that nothing escapes His care. Trust His timing, rely on His guidance, and rest in His faithfulness. The God who holds the universe also holds your life—and He is faithful to provide, protect, and bless you in every season.

Prayer Focus:

  • Pray for provision in every need. Ask God to meet physical, emotional, and spiritual needs according to “the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus”(Philippians 4:19).

  • Pray for guidance and direction. That God would lead steps clearly and faithfully, as promised in Isaiah 58:11: “The Lord will guide you always.”

  • Pray for discernment to recognize God’s blessings. That we would see His hand at work in ordinary and extraordinary ways.

  • Pray for faith to believe beyond circumstances. That even in uncertainty or lack, we would hold to Romans 8:32: “He who did not spare His own Son… will graciously give us all things.”

  • Pray for gratitude and praise. That every provision, seen or unseen, leads to thanksgiving and worship.

DAY 21
We Fight from Victory
Pastor Josh Roberts

Victory celebration and commissioning

Scripture Focus: 2 Chronicles 20:17 – You will not need to fight in this battle. Stand firm, hold your position, and see the salvation of the Lord on your behalf, O Judah and Jerusalem.’ Do not be afraid and do not be dismayed. Tomorrow go out against them, and the Lord will be with you.

Reflection:

God did not ask Judah to win the battle. He asked them to take their place, stand firm, and watch Him win it. Same for you.

Through the cross and the empty tomb, Jesus already broke the power of sin, shame, sickness, and hell. We are not fighting for victory, we are fighting from victory. Prayer is not begging God to show up. Prayer is agreeing with what He has already finished and stepping into it with bold faith.

Today is not just the end of 21 days. It is a launch. You are being sent into your home, workplace, school, and city as someone who carries the victory of Jesus.

Prayer Focus:

Lord, thank You that the battle belongs to You. I choose to stand firm, hold my position, and move forward in faith. Send me out as a carrier of Your victory and peace. Amen.
