We are honored to share an opportunity that reflects the heart, faith, and legacy of Pastor Tom—the Thomas W. Kiessling Memorial Scholarship.
This scholarship was established through the generosity of members of our church family who, through gifts, memorials, and book purchases, desired to carry on Pastor Tom’s lifelong commitment to faith, ministry, and leadership. Through this fund, All People is able to invest in students who are preparing for a future in vocational ministry.
What is the Thomas W. Kiessling Memorial Scholarship?
The TKM Scholarship provides financial support to students pursuing a degree or certificate in Vocational Ministry at a Christian-based academic institution. While applicants may be in a variety of academic stages, the scholarship is open to:
Full-time undergraduate students
Full- or part-time graduate students
Seminary students
Special consideration is given to students attending schools that Pastor Tom deeply loved and that align with his training in the Word of Faith movement, including Rhema Bible Training College, Charis Bible College, and Kenneth Copeland Bible College. Attendance at these schools is encouraged, but not required.
How does the scholarship work?
Applications open each January and are reviewed by the TKM Scholarship Committee in the spring. Awards are announced in early April. Scholarship amounts vary from year to year based on available funds, financial need, and the number of qualified applicants. Depending on individual circumstances and eligibility, scholarships may be renewable or awarded for a single year; however applications must be resubmitted each year.
Who should apply?
This scholarship is designed for students who are connected to the life and mission of All People and who sense a call to vocational ministry. While our hope is that recipients would one day return to serve in this House, we trust God’s leading and joyfully sow into students wherever He calls them.
